Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA), 46-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mead upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA) to play the Bullpups in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Bullpups come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Gonzaga Prep lost 76-73 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA)

Next up, the Bears play the Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Ferris (Spokane, WA).
