In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 39-11 triumph over the Craig County Rockets.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 1. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Maroons enter the match with a 15-1 record after their 45-38 non-league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA).
With the defeat, Craig County moves to 2-11 on the year. The Rockets travel to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA) to meet the Fighting Blues in a non-league match on Thursday, February 1. The Fighting Blues enter the match with a record of 5-8. Parry McCluer won 57-10 in their recent non-league match against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA)
