The Indian River Braves basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 54 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deep Creek for a non-league match on Friday, February 2. Indian River will meet a Hornets team coming off a 70-50 non-league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 11-1.

With the defeat, Great Bridge moves to 2-15 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to meet the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Friday, February 2. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 3-10. Lakeland won 50-21 in their recent non-league match against Franklin (Franklin, VA)
