The Greater New Bedford RVT Bears basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders to 49 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wareham for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Greater New Bedford RVT will battle a Vikings team coming off a 50-44 non-league win over Dennis-Yarmouth Regional (South Yarmouth, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-3.

The Raiders (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA). The Lakers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
