With the victory, SouthWest Edgecombe improves its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host North Pitt (Bethel, NC) to confront the Panthers in a challenge on Friday, February 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. North Pitt lost 62-42 in their recent league challenge against Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC)

Next up, the Rams confront the West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Greene Central will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record.
