Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), 68-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln Charter upgrades its record to 2-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to play the Pride in a bout on Friday, February 2. The Pride come into the bout with a record of 13-5. Pine Lake Prep won 70-57 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)

Next up, the Lions play the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Langtree Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Raptor come into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 70-57 non-league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC).
