North Carolina High School Basketball - Washington County thwarts Perquimans

The Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), 52-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Martin County (Williamston, NC). The Knights go into the test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Martin County notched a victory over Bertie (Windsor, NC), 41-38, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host North East Carolina Prep for a non-league test on Friday, February 2.
