Illinois High School Basketball - Scales Mound tops Warren

Scales Mound Hornets (Scales Mound, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Warren Warriors (Warren, IL), 52-36 in a league bout.
With the victory, Scales Mound upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Galena (Galena, IL) to play the Pirates in a bout on Thursday, February 1. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 14-3. Galena won 38-22 in their recent league bout against Stockton (Stockton, IL)
Next up, the Warriors play the Orangeville Broncos (Orangeville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 45-37 non-league loss to River Ridge (Hanover, IL).
