North Carolina High School Basketball - South Granville falls to Vance County

January 30, 2024: Henderson, NC 27537

In Tuesday's league match, the host Vance County Vipers basketball squad scored a nice 49-40 victory over the South Granville Vikings.

With the victory, Vance County improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Vipers travel to Carrboro (Carrboro, NC) to play the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Carrboro lost 75-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Southern Durham (Durham, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. South Granville will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 58-55 non-league win over Southern Durham (Durham, NC).
