Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) and the host Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI), saw South Lyon's basketball squad wallop Walled Lake Western by a count of 46-23.

With the victory, South Lyon upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Kettering (Waterford, MI) to play the Captains in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Captains come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Warriors play the Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Walled Lake Western will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
