Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bumblebees confront the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Little River Academy will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 5-0 league win over Brownwood (Brownwood, TX).

The Cougars now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Lampasas for a 4A Region 1 District 5 challenge on Friday, February 2. China Spring will confront a Badgers team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Stephenville (Stephenville, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 4-5.
