The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) and the visiting Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX), saw Sterling's soccer squad get by Crosby by a count of 3-2.

The Rangers now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lee for a 5A Region 3 District 17 test on Friday, February 2. Sterling will meet a Ganders squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Ganders record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Crosby drops to 8-1 on the season. The Cougars host Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX) to meet the Indians in a 5A Region 3 District 17 test on Friday, February 2. The Indians come into the test with a record of 11-1. Port Neches-Groves won 5-0 in their recent league test against Nederland (Nederland, TX)
