St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights face the Laguna Blanca Owls (Santa Barbara, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. St. Joseph will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Owls enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Villanova Prep (Ojai, CA).

The Spartans now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nipomo for a Ocean challenge on Friday, February 2. Orcutt Academy will face a Titans team coming off a 1-0 league win over Mission College Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Titans record now stands at 8-10.
