The Cougars now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Monte Vista for a Grossmont Hills test on Thursday, February 1. Steele Canyon will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over West Hills (Santee, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Valhalla drops to 7-8 on the season. The Norsemen host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to encounter the Foothillers in a Grossmont Hills test on Thursday, February 1. The Foothillers come into the test with a record of 5-9. Grossmont lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Santana (Santee, CA)
