In Thursday's league test, the Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) basketball squad defeated the host Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), by a score of 77-60.

Next, the Stars clash with the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) in a AAA Section 6 test, on Saturday, February 1. Academy of Holy Angels will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Red Knights come into the test with a 14-1 record after their 76-72 league win over Orono (Long Lake, MN).

The Eagles (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Fridley went down by Becker (Becker, MN), 89-87, in a non-league test.
