Virginia High School Basketball - Northampton held off by Arcadia

January 30, 2025: Eastville, VA 23347

In Thursday's league test, the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) basketball squad got by the host Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA), by a score of 79-78.

Next, the Firebirds encounter the Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 3. Arcadia will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Royals come into the test with a 12-3 record after their 62-55 non-league win over Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE).

The Yellowjackets (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Charles City (Charles City, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Charles City was nipped by Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA), 74-21, in a non-league test.
