The Archmere Academy Auks basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Indian River Indians to 30 in the Auks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Auks now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Elizabeth for a Diamond State game on Friday, January 31. Archmere Academy will confront a Vikings team coming off a 53-45 non-league win over St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Indian River falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Seaford (Seaford, DE) to confront the Bluejays in a Henlopen - Southern game on Saturday, February 1. The Bluejays go into the game with a record of 10-2. Seaford won 53-46 in their recent league game against Lake Forest (Felton, DE)
