In Thursday's league contest, the visiting IKM/Manning Wolves basketball team scored a close 52-48 triumph over the Audubon Wheelers.
The Wolves (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Treynor (Treynor, IA). The Cardinals go into the Western Iowa contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Treynor nipped Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA), 65-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wheelers battle the Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA) in a Western Iowa contest, on Friday, January 31. Audubon will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 61-52 non-league win over Clarinda (Clarinda, IA).
