In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears basketball team scored a big 83-45 triumph over the Robertson County Black Devils.

The Polar Bears (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Holy Cross was crushed by Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY), 63-60, in a non-league battle.

The Black Devils now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrison County for a District 38 battle on Friday, January 31. Robertson County will meet a Thorobreds squad coming off a 66-63 league win over Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Thorobreds record now stands at 5-10.
