In Thursday's league contest, the host Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Panthers basketball team scored a good 82-72 win over the Buckley Griffins.

The Panthers (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Martyrs Armenian (Encino, CA). The Armens come into the Independence contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Holy Martyrs Armenian defeated Buckley (Sherman Oaks, CA), 65-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Griffins battle the Le Lycee Lions (Los Angeles, CA) in a Independence contest, on Monday, February 3. Buckley will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 89-38 league loss to Pilibos (Los Angeles, CA).
