The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Shelton Highclimbers (Shelton, WA) and the host Centralia Tigers (Centralia, WA), observed Shelton's basketball team overcome Centralia by a margin of 48-36.

The Highclimbers (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against WF West (Chehalis, WA). The Bearcats come into the 2A Evergreen challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, WF West defeated Aberdeen (Aberdeen, WA), 66-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Black Hills Wolves (Tumwater, WA) in a 2A Evergreen challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Centralia will attempt to better on its 2-16 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 65-55 league loss to Tumwater (Tumwater, WA).
