The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI) and the host Grayling Vikings (Grayling, MI), observed Cheboygan's basketball team overwhelm Grayling by a margin of 62-41.

The Chiefs (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Elks come into the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Elk Rapids trounced Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI), 56-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI) in a Lake Michigan challenge, on Monday, February 3. Grayling will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Rayders come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 50-36 league win over Kingsley (Kingsley, MI).
