In Thursday's league contest, the host Mardela Warriors basketball team scored a good 71-52 win over the Crisfield Crabbers.
The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Dorchester (Hurlock, MD). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, North Dorchester was topped by Cambridge-South Dorchester (Cambridge, MD), 97-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Crabbers battle the Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD) in a Bayside - South contest, on Monday, February 3. Crisfield will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Seahawks come into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 80-63 league win over Pocomoke (Pocomoke, MD).
