In Thursday's league contest, the host Great Commission Bears basketball team scored a close 45-40 triumph over the DuBois Christian .

The Bears (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Johnstown Christian (Hollsopple, PA). The Bluejays go into the Allegheny Christian contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Johnstown Christian was tipped by Ferndale (Johnstown, PA), 70-40, in a non-league contest.
