In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Keokuk Chiefs basketball team scored a big 51-29 triumph over the Fairfield Trojans.
The Chiefs (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Central Lee smashed Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA), 47-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders (Fort Madison, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Fairfield will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 72-64 non-league loss to Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA).
