Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Croix Lutheran holds off Fridley

The St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 85 points and limited the host Fridley Tigers to 80 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crusaders now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. St. Croix Lutheran will confront a Stars team coming off a 64-51 non-league win over Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN). The Stars record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Fridley falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Richfield (Richfield, MN) to confront the Spartans in a AAA Section 6 game on Friday, January 31. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 12-4. Richfield won 83-71 in their recent non-league game against Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN)
