Minnesota High School Basketball - Grand Meadow succumbs to Mabel-Canton

The Mabel-Canton Cougars defeated the host Grand Meadow Superlarks basketball squad by a final score of 57-49 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN) in a A Section 1 outing, on Friday, January 31. Mabel-Canton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Falcons come into the outing with a 3-12 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN).

The Superlarks (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Houston (Houston, MN). The Hurricanes come into the A Section 1 outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Houston overcame Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN), 68-47, in a non-league outing.
