In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Henning Hornets basketball team scored a big 78-16 triumph over the Menahga Braves.
The Hornets (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pillager (Pillager, MN). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Pillager was trounced by Pierz (Pierz, MN), 79-76, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Braves battle the Browerville Tigers (Browerville, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Menahga will attempt to better on its 1-17 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 8-6 record after their 70-69 non-league loss to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN).
