The Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL) basketball were winner over the host Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL), 67-54 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Mallards now possess a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Marquette for a Tri-County bout on Friday, February 7.
With the loss, Putnam County falls to 0-22 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 14-13.
