The Stanfield Tigers were victorious over the host Heppner Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 59-39 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain outing, on Friday, January 31. Stanfield will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Prospectors enter the outing with a 14-7 record after their 65-47 non-league win over Prairie City (Prairie City, OR).
The Mustangs (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Enterprise (Enterprise, OR). The Outlaws enter the 2A Blue Mountain outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Enterprise ran past Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR), 72-49, in a league outing.
