Alabama High School Basketball - Johnson fells Sweet Water

The Johnson Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Sweet Water Bulldogs to 40 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Linden for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Johnson will confront a Patriots team coming off a 55-42 league loss to Johnson (Thomaston, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 5-13.
With the loss, Sweet Water falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Excel (Excel, AL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 31. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-10.
