In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Kittson Central Bearcats basketball team scored a good 72-57 triumph over the Sacred Heart Eagles.
The Bearcats (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Grygla-Gatzke (Grygla, MN). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Grygla-Gatzke topped Win-E-Mac (Erskine, MN), 78-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze (Newfolden, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Sacred Heart will attempt to better on its 14-12 season record. The Northern Freeze go into the contest with a 10-10 record after their 63-26 league win over Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN).
