In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mulberry Panthers basketball team scored a close 48-42 triumph over the Lake Placid Dragons.
The Panthers (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Tenoroc (Lakeland, FL). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Tenoroc was tipped by East Ridge (Clermont, FL), 85-84, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds (Fort Pierce, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Lake Placid will attempt to better on its 3-17 season record. The Greyhounds go into the contest with a 4-17 record after their 65-64 non-league win over Frostproof (Frostproof, FL).
