North Dakota High School Basketball - Standing Rock sneaks past New Salem

The Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND) basketball edged the visiting New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND), 64-57 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Watford City for a A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 31. Standing Rock will play a Wolves team coming off a 63-30 non-league loss to New Town (New Town, ND). The Wolves record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, New Salem falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Holsteins travel to Center-Stanton (Center, ND) to play the Wildcats in a B District 8 bout on Monday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-13. Center-Stanton lost 63-35 in their recent non-league bout against Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND)
