Arizona High School Basketball - Verde Valley holds off Orme

The Verde Valley Coyotes basketball team scored 20 points and limited the host Orme Warriors to 19 in the Coyotes league triumph on Thursday.
The Coyotes now have a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Telesis Prep for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Verde Valley will confront a Tigers team coming off a 69-38 non-league loss to Our Lady of the Sun Academy (El Mirage, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 0-11.
With the loss, Orme falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Trinity Christian (Prescott, AZ) to confront the Warriors in a Canyon Division 1 - Fiesta game on Thursday, February 6. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 17-2.
