In Thursday's non-league test, the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) basketball squad got by the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV), by a score of 70-67.
Next, the Cadets encounter the Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 5. Linsly will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 15-1 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, OH).
The Patriots (6-5) will now prepare for their test against SPIRE Academy (Geneva, OH). The SPIRE come into the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, SPIRE Academy held off International Sports Academy (Willoughby, OH), 74-65, in a non-league test.
