Washington, DC High School Basketball - Parkside overwhelms Thurgood Marshall Academy

The Parkside Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Thurgood Marshall Academy Warriors to 48 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sandy Spring Friends for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Parkside will confront a Wildebeests team coming off a 62-34 league win over Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC). The Wildebeests record now stands at 12-18.
With the loss, Thurgood Marshall Academy falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC) to confront the Panthers in a PCSAA AA game on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 9-10. KIPP College Prep lost 54-34 in their recent non-league game against Ballou (Washington, DC)
