Oklahoma High School Basketball - Pawhuska thwarts Pawnee

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Pawhuska Huskies (Pawhuska, OK) and the visiting Pawnee Black Bears (Pawnee, OK), observed Pawhuska's basketball team knock off Pawnee by a score of 66-57.

The Huskies (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Pond Creek-Hunter (Pond Creek, OK). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, Pond Creek-Hunter prevailed over Drummond (Drummond, OK), 48-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Bears encounter the Chandler Lions (Chandler, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Pawnee will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 76-52 non-league win over Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK).
