New Mexico High School Basketball - Manzano holds off Capital

The Manzano Monarchs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Capital Jaguars to 49 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Monarchs now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they host La Cueva for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Manzano will confront a Bears team coming off a 58-21 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Bears record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Capital falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 8-5. Eldorado lost 64-56 in their recent non-league game against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM)
