New Mexico High School Basketball - La Cueva overwhelms Santa Fe

The La Cueva Bears basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Santa Fe Demons to 21 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Manzano for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. La Cueva will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Santa Fe falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Matadors in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Matadors go into the game with a record of 8-2. Sandia won 64-56 in their recent non-league game against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)
