The Manteno Panthers (Manteno, IL) basketball edged the visiting Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 37-36 in Thursday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Streator for a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. Manteno will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-50 league loss to Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Lisle falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
