In Thursday's non-league test, the Spring Hill Raiders (Columbia, TN) basketball team beat the visiting Battle Creek Grizzlies (Spring Hill, TN), by a margin of 36-26.
The Raiders now have a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Warren County for a 4A District 9 game on Friday, January 31. Spring Hill will confront a Pioneers & Lady Pioneers team coming off a 63-35 league loss to Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN). The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers record now stands at 5-12.
With the loss, Battle Creek falls to 2-21 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Loretto (Loretto, TN) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A District 10 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 16-7. Loretto won 70-8 in their recent league game against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TN)
