In Thursday's league contest, the host Brandon/Evansville Chargers basketball team scored a big 67-42 win over the Battle Lake Battlers.

The Chargers (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN). The Cowboys come into the A Section 6 contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Breckenridge smashed Frazee (Frazee, MN), 53-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Battlers battle the Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans (Twin Valley, MN) in a A Section 6 contest, on Friday, January 31. Battle Lake will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 1-19 record after their 72-35 league loss to Ada-Borup/Norman County West (Ada, MN).
