The Cross County Thunderbirds basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Bay Yellowjackets to 41 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Thursday.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Piggott for a 2A Region 3 game on Monday, February 3.

With the loss, Bay falls to 4-19 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Riverside (Lake City, AR) to confront the Rebels in a 2A Region 3 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 25-4. Riverside won 63-14 in their recent league game against Corning (Corning, AR)
