In Thursday's league test, the Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) basketball squad trounced the host Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA), by a score of 52-20.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Ringgold Rams (Monongahela, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 3 test, on Monday, February 3. Laurel Highlands will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 6-11 record after their 55-11 league loss to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA).
