With the victory, Mathews advances its record to 5-11 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Gloucester (Gloucester, VA) to meet the Dukes in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Dukes enter the match with a record of 6-9. Gloucester lost 55-20 in their recent league match against Warwick (Newport News, VA)

The Wolverines now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mathews for a Tidewater match on Tuesday, February 11.
