The Twin Springs Titans basketball squad (Nickelsville, VA), was crushed 71-22 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA)
With the victory, Central Wise advances its record to 18-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Union (Big Stone Gap, VA) to meet the Bears in a Mountain battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 5-12. Union won 51-45 in their recent league battle against Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA)
The Titans now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumberland Gap for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 1. Twin Springs will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 49-21 league win over Gibbs (Corryton, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 9-7.
