North Carolina High School Basketball - North Moore routed by Chatham Central

Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC), 69-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Chatham Central upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Bears host Graham (Graham, NC) to face the Red Devils in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina match on Friday, January 31. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 3-11. Graham lost 50-24 in their recent league match against Cummings (Burlington, NC)

The Mustangs now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seaforth for a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina match on Tuesday, February 4. North Moore will face a Hawks squad coming off a 54-28 league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 18-1.
