In Thursday's league test, the Chemawa Indian Braves (Salem, OR) basketball squad defeated the host Delphian Dragons (Sheridan, OR), by a final score of 40-26.
Next, the Braves clash with the Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) in a 2A Tri-River test, on Monday, February 3. Chemawa Indian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 16-3 record after their 49-23 league win over Colton (Colton, OR).
The Dragons (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Santiam (Mill City, OR). The Wolverines come into the 2A Tri-River test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Santiam went down by Salem Academy (Salem, OR), 47-33, in a league test.
