The Prentice Buccaneers (Prentice, WI) basketball were winner over the host Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI), 54-38 in Thursday's league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tomahawk for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Prentice will play a Hatchets team coming off a 63-38 non-league loss to Phillips (Phillips, WI). The Hatchets record now stands at 8-8.
